INSTALLATION
Walls are marked out in an evenly spaced and level pattern @ approximately 14" / 35cm centres. An 80 mm core is then drilled out at a five degree angle on par with original damp-course.
Holes are cleaned and snags removed, dampened and packed out with mortar. Clean washed Kentish sand and Portland cement is then mixed to a 'creamy' consistency at a measured ratio of 9 to 1 with lime added to ensure workability.
Installations are subject to survey to ensure the property is not only suitable for damp proofing by insertion of siphon tubes but also that the property is structurally sound.
Health & Safety Legislation is strictly observed with Risk Assessment carried out prior to commencement of work. Free use of electrics, water & toilet facilities is assumed unless advised otherwise. There will be an element of noise and air borne pollution (dust) as power tools are used. All debris is removed from site on completion of work.
