Specially developed Hydrotek-Wallguard porous ceramic tubes work by "soaking up" water from the surrounding brickwork and mortar course.

The tubes when installed have a very slight downward tilt; about 5 degrees from the horizontal. Moist air falls to the bottom of the tube & evaporates out through the ventilation cap.

There are no maintenance or running costs. The method is simple, clean and effective.
